Mission Statement:
To preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus the Christ so that every believer:
Know what they believe (sound Biblical doctrine);
Know why they believe what they believe (no longer relying on tradition);
And can effectively articulate their beliefs (evangelize this dying world).
Vision Statement:
To establish a community of believers comprised from all nations by Encouraging with love, Equipping with the Word and Empowering to fulfill purpose.
Corporate Vision:
There is a story in the Bible in Acts 8:26 – 37 that bests describes why Spirit and Truth Worship Center exists. In the story, the scripture states, Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Get up and go south by the road that leads from Jerusalem to Gaza. This is a desert road.” So he got up and went. Now an Ethiopian eunuch was there. He was a member of the court of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, and was in charge of all her treasures. He had come to Jerusalem to worship and was returning home. He was seated in his chariot, reading the prophet Isaiah. The Spirit said to Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay close to it.” So Philip ran up to it and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah out loud. He asked, “Do you understand what you’re reading?” He replied, “How can I unless someone guides me?”
Just like Philip, we at Spirit and Truth Worship Center desire that everyone understands the Word of God. Our goal is to utilize every spiritual gift that God deposits into our church to present the Gospel of Jesus the Christ in such a manner that everyone can understand.
